The CBSS college-bound database is in large part the product of a
voluntary student survey distributed annually in all
50 states between the months of September and March.
Student response information is added weekly. Survey
forms are distributed to most secondary schools
throughout the United States.
The survey utilized by CBSS is targeted to reach the national
college-bound market early and continually on a very
timely basis. It's voluntary administration and
participation is not linked to testing or other
performance evaluation activities. However, a much
greater percentage of respondents tend to be highly-motivated and
achievement-oriented. As an example, more than 70% of freshman
and sophomore respondents report grade point averages
of A+, A, A-, B+ or B.
Colleges and universities can search the CBSS database
by completing the Student Profile Selection form, and
can begin that process right now online. Selections

and NCOA programs during initial input and thereafter
on a quarterly basis. |
